Fr. Vojislav Dosenovich (1916–2008) was the parish priest of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church from 1948–2005. During World War II he was involved in the Serbian Resistance against Nazi Germany. After the war he emigrated to the United States, where he was ordained to the priesthood by St. Nikolai Velimirovich. Fr. Vojislav earned a master’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Nebraska and a doctorate in Slavic literature from the University of Kansas. He wrote seven books, including one (So Help Me, God!) on his life during World War II. He reposed in 2008 at the age of 92.
